Setting Up Games for Campers

Setting up games for campers is a very important job. It’s part of the backbone of Camp. But really God is the soul purpose of camp.

If you are a cabin leader, support staff, junior staff or maintenance staff, you will probably need to set up games at one time or another.

Most likely you will be assigned to play frisbee, socker, or football with the campers during activity time(after lunch). You will need to get the cones from the activity cabin, and the choice of sport ball you will be doing. Football requires garbage cans as field goals.

The slip and slide was set up by the maintenance staff. And unless you are on the maintenance staff, you won’t need to set up anything this large.

The ball activity was set up by cabin leaders and support staff. It was a Pacman maze. All the campers threw balls at the other team’s pacman. The maintenance staff sprayed the maze onto the grass.
